Alan wrote a blues song tonight and played acoustic slide guitar on it as well as bass. He had Mike play electric guitar on it. It's called "Fire the Light-Bombs". Mike's song tonight is called "Either Side" and he's been meaning to get around to recording it for a while now. It's got a country feel again. Mike played electric and acoustic guitar, sang and programmed the drum track. Alan played electric bass on it. Tomorrow we'll be throwing our first cover song at you, for which the last clue is "something magnetic and something you mail". Anyhow, enjoy tonight's songs. Adios.
Addendum for good measure here...We were on our way(s) out the door earlier and wanted to get something up here before midnight or thereabouts...so anyhow... It appears that it's technically not legal to upload previously copyrighted music to MySpace/Facebook/iLike, thus we will be uploading the song to our archive page only, because there's no law against recording yourself playing a cover song for personal use, and subsequently there's no law against saving said song on a backup storage site. It just so happens that you'll all have access to it as well. In other news, we're working on digital drum tracks in the not-having-a-drummer-meantime, so that we can gig. If it goes well, perhaps we'll go ahead and keep the format.
